Job summary

Clean Harbors in Toledo, OH is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to operate a variety of heavy and light duty trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs. The role includes driving and non-driving duties on and off-site for hazardous waste clean-up.

The position requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days, and the ability to pass background checks, drug tests and a physical.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements should be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices and apps on the job.
• Must perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required by position.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform related manual tasks on site.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
• Comply with DOT, state, and company safety regulations.
• Be available for emergency response or project work, potentially out of town up to 2 weeks.
• Attend training and development opportunities as needed.
