Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cleveland, OH seeks a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to drive various trucks and work equipment at customer sites for hazardous waste cleanup. Training via a two-week academy is provided, with expenses paid by the company.

Typical schedule Monday–Friday, 6 am start, 8–10+ hour days, overtime after 40 hours. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are preferred and entry requires completion of a paid two-week academy out of state.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days.
• Ability to use mobile devices and perform job functions safely.
• Must pass background, drug test, and medical exam as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers.
• Load/unload trucks and perform manual labor on site.
• Maintain logs, time sheets, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety guidelines.
• Be available for emergency response on a rotating basis.
