Job summary

Clean Harbors in Cleveland is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, performing driving and non-driving duties on and off-site for hazardous waste clean-up. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, daily logs, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Required: valid Class A CDL and ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements; willing to pass background check and drug test; on-call for emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred or within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to use various mobile devices at work.
• Ability to perform physical work as required by the role.
• Successful completion of background check, drug test, and medical/physical as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as part of a team.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks including vacuum, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs.
• Load and unload trucks and perform on-site/manual labor as needed.
• Maintain vehicle placarding to meet DOT requirements.
• Keep daily logs, time sheets and reports accurate.
