Clean Harbors in Urbana, IL is seeking a Class A CDL Equipment Operator to drive a range of trucks on customer sites, including vacuum trucks and roll-offs, with duties on and off sites related to hazardous waste cleanup.

This full-time role requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, ability to pass background checks, and a commitment to safety. Work is Monday through Friday with occasional travel; training is provided out of state.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers when needed (team atmosphere where everyone helps).
• Operate a variety of Class A trucks.
• Loading and unloading of trucks.
• Manual labor on site to ensure fulfillment of customer needs.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports.
• Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules.
