Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver for local freight operations. You will pick up, transport, and deliver, while performing vehicle inspections and loading/unloading cargo.

Endorsements for HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers, plus a valid CDL and English literacy, are required. Candidates must be 21+, 6 months driving experience (1 year preferred), and able to meet DOT hours-of-service and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 6 months driving experience minimum (1 year preferred).
• CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers endorsements required with no automatic restrictions.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read, write, and comprehend English.
• Must know and comply with DOT rules, hours of service, inspections, and hazmat transport.
• DOT physicals and drug/alcohol testing are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Pickup, transport, and deliver freight locally.
• Operate tractor-trailer and perform coupling/uncoupling and equipment checks.
• Inspect vehicle, manage loading/unloading, and ensure delivery documents are accurate.
• Report incidents and delays; maintain driving logs; uphold safety and company policies.
