Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally, serving customers on a regular basis. You will be the face of the company and ensure safe, on-time service.

The role requires a CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailers endorsements, at least 21 years old, and a High School Diploma or GED. Strong knowledge of DOT rules and excellent customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months minimum driving experience; 1 year preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Twin Trailers endorsements; no automatic restrictions.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Read, comprehend, and write in English; perform basic math; read maps and road signs; maintain driving logs.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, regulations, and guidelines including hours of service and hazmat.
• Pass DOT physical, alcohol and drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally.
• Drive tractor-trailer; couple/uncouple; connect lines; adjust equipment.
• Inspect vehicle; load/unload cargo; ensure transport documents compliance.
• Report incidents or delays; follow safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain DOT hours-of-service logs and driving records.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism.
