Job summary

Southeastern Freight Lines is seeking a P&D Driver to pick up, transport, and deliver freight locally. You will be the face of the company, serving our customers on a regular basis.

As a tractor-trailer operator, you will drive in various conditions, perform vehicle inspections, load/unload cargo, and ensure transport documents are accurate and compliant, especially for hazardous materials. A valid CDL with Hazmat/Tanker/Twin Trailers endorsements and 21+ years old are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of driving experience; 1 year preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL with HAZMAT, Tanker and Twin Trailers endorsements; no auto restrictions.
• Must be 21+ and able to read, write, and do basic math.
• Knowledge of DOT rules, hours of service, inspections, and hazmat transport.
• Able to read maps and keep accurate driving logs.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer to pick up, transport, and deliver freight.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and handle loading/unloading.
• Prepare and review transport documents; ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain safety, report incidents or delays; follow company policies.
