Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a CDL-B Field Driver/Technician (Tanker & HazMat) to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to generator sites while operating a range of trucks.

You will perform pickups, complete required DOT documentation, and ensure proper hazmat loading, placarding, and labeling to meet regulatory standards. The role includes pre-trip/post-trip inspections, potential overnight shifts, and occasional on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Requires valid CDL-B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must understand DOT hazmat packaging, placarding, loading, and labeling requirements.
• Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training on hire or within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate trucks including roll-off, tanker and box trucks.
• Perform LTL (less than load) pickups and site deliveries.
• Maintain driver documents: logs, trip reports, waste manifests, permits.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations.
