Republic Services is seeking a HazMat Field Driver/Technician to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to generator sites using class B trucks. You may operate tractor-trailers, roll-offs, tankers, and vans, with occasional straight truck duties.

The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with potential 3–4 overnight shifts based on location and routes. The position requires a valid Class B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days) and passing a 40-hour

Formación

• A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements or ability to obtain within 90 days from hire date.
• An MVR that meets Company policy standards.
• Must be able to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER Training upon hire.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, and other trailers per job assignments.
• Perform LTL pickups and ensure proper loading, securement, and labeling of hazardous waste.
• Maintain driver documents (logbooks, trip reports, manifests) as required by DOT and company policy.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Assist in lab pack and field service projects when required.
• Participate in Site Safety program and adhere to safety training and policies.
