Job summary

Talent Bridge, on Idaho National Laboratory's ESH&Q Process and Data Systems team, seeks a Data Analyst to apply data science, analytics, and visualization techniques to improve safety, compliance, and performance across INL.

You will gather requirements, develop data-driven solutions, and create dashboards for safety and quality metrics, partnering with stakeholders across ESH&Q, IT, and operations on a 9x80 schedule with every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Completed BS in Data Science or a closely related field within the last 12 months.
• Experience in data science, data analysis, and software development using C#, Java, or C++.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud-based analytics is a plus (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns.
• Work with technology organizations and business end-users to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
• Partner with development and data management roles to identify and capture data required from internal and external sources.
• Create and maintain statistical models for ongoing and ad hoc review and analysis of data.
• Use data visualization programs, tools, and techniques to generate dashboards, reports, and presentations that aid in data storytelling, understanding, and interpretation of trends and patterns of business importance.
• May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. May include company-wide, web-enabled solutions.
