Job summary

Veoli is seeking an Environmental Technician in Calvert City, KY. You will join a team responsible for consolidating, treating, storing, transporting and disposing of hazardous waste in accordance with environmentally responsible and compliant practices.

This physically active role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, operating a forklift and other equipment, and completing documentation accurately. You will be trained to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements, with opportunities to grow in

Qualifications

Physically able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
Stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
Good visual acuity to read labels; depth perception for forklift operation.
Ability to hear vehicle alarms and chimes.
Work outdoors in all weather and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.
Willingness to wear PPE including glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.
High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations and policies.
Operate forklift and other mobile equipment to move containers.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Adhere to safety, regulatory, and customer procedures.
