Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a warehouse associate to consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in a compliant and safe manner. The role requires physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating forklifts in various conditions.

You will complete documentation, work outdoors and indoors, and wear appropriate PPE. Flexible schedule including nights and weekends may be required to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Visual acuity to read labels; depth perception for forklift operation.
• Must wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.

Responsibilities

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Operate a forklift and other mobile equipment to move containers to and from storage and treatment areas and to load and unload trailers.
• Complete required documentation accurately, timely and legibly in accordance with applicable regulations and customer policies, practices and procedures.
