Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a transportation and disposal specialist to support hazardous waste operations. You’ll sample waste streams, package and label materials, coordinate transportation, and perform spill response while following DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, plus possible chemistry-related degree; a 40-hour HAZWOPER, a valid license, and CDL/H endorsement eligibility. Benefits and competitive pay are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams per policies and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain professional client image and address inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and Veolia Environmental Services policies.
• Operate and maintain equipment efficiently; perform other duties as assigned.
