Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a field operator to provide specialized transportation and disposal services. You will sample waste streams, package, label, and coordinate transport while following DOT/EPA and internal safety rules. You will also keep clients informed and uphold a professional image.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable) with a chemistry-related degree preferred, and a 40-hour HAZWOPER? Certification plus a valid CDL if possible.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; chemistry degree preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork and strong communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
• Proficient with standard computer software and data entry.
• Ability to follow through on assignments with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams per policies and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading/unloading, and transport coordination.
• Maintain professional client image and address inquiries.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory procedures (DOT/EPA) and VES-TS policies.
• Operate and maintain equipment for efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
