Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a Transportation & Disposal Associate to provide specialized services to clients, including manifesting, packaging, spill response, labeling, and coordinating transportation while upholding state and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading drums, sampling waste streams, and ensuring compliance with DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour certification is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading drums and totes.
• Sample waste streams according to policies.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill clean-up and labeling.
• Coordinate transportation and sampling.
• Maintain professional image and respond to inquiries.
• Comply with DOT/EPA and Veolia policies.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
