Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a on-site Transportation and Disposal Specialist at a Northern Phoenix / Anthem location. The role involves sampling waste streams, manifesting and coordinating transportation, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, a 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, and the ability to obtain a CDL with Hazardous endorsement. Candidates with a Chemistry background are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related science discipline preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Good time management and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Sample waste streams according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Manifesting, packaging, spill cleanup, labeling, loading/unloading, and coordinating transportation.
• Maintain a professional image and respond to client inquiries with solutions.
• Comply with all DOT/EPA and VES-TS safety policies and procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
