Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a transportation and disposal technician to service clients with hazardous waste, labeling, sampling, and coordinating transport while adhering to DOT/EPA and Veolia-TS safety standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 40-hour HAZWOPER, valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with Hazardous endorsement; a Bachelor’s in Chemistry is preferred. Comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related science preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manifest and coordinate transportation of waste.
• Package, spill response, labeling, loading/unloading, and transportation coordination.
• Maintain a professional image and address client inquiries.
• Comply with health, safety and procedures per VES-TS and regulations.
• Familiarize with DOT/EPA and VES-TS rules for disposal paperwork.
• Operate and maintain equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned.
