Veolia, partnered with Clean Earth, is hiring an Environmental Technician in the United States. The role involves handling hazardous waste, learning environmental regulations, and performing consolidation, treatment, storage, transport, and disposal tasks in a physically active setting.

You’ll lift up to 50 pounds, operate forklifts, and complete required records with attention to safety and regulatory compliance. Team-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven surfaces for extended periods.
• Reading labels and documentation; depth perception for forklift operation.
• Work outdoors in all climates and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate, treat, store, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and operate forklifts and other equipment to move containers.
• Work outdoors and indoors, wearing PPE as required.
• Support safe, compliant waste management practices.
