Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Environmental Technician in Kent, WA to consolidate, treat, package, and transport hazardous waste per compliant practices. You will keep detailed records and support operations with safe material handling.

Qualifications

2+ years of prior experience working with hazardous materials.
High School Diploma preferred.
Ability to operate equipment including a forklift and pallet jack.
Read labels and documentation; depth perception for safe forklift use.
Ability to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non‑climate‑controlled spaces.
Must wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel‑toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek, and respirator.

Responsibilities

Segregate and package material for transport.
Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials.
Operate fork trucks and other mobile equipment to move containers and load/unload trailers.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely per regulations and policies.
Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
