Job summary

Veolia is seeking an Environmental Technician to consolidate, treat, store, pack, transport and/or dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with regulations and company procedures. You will maintain detailed and accurate records and support facility services and spill response as required.

The role requires 2+ years with hazardous materials, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to operate forklift and pallet jack outdoors and indoors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience with hazardous materials.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Able to work outdoors in all climate conditions and indoors in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Willingness to wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator.

Responsibilities

• Industrial cleaning/Pressure washing, Wastewater treatment, Spill response, facility services.
• Complete required documentation accurately, timely and legibly in accordance with applicable regulations and customer policies, practices and procedures.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
