Job summary

Veolia Environmental Technician position involves consolidating, treating, storing, packing, transporting and/or disposing of hazardous waste in compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role requires maintaining detailed records and performing related tasks as assigned.

Primary responsibilities include industrial cleaning and wastewater-related tasks, along with documentation and compliance. Starting pay is $25 per hour, with benefit packages described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience handling hazardous materials.
• Able to operate forklift and pallet jack safely.
• Good reading of labels and documentation; strong hearing for alarms.
• Willing to work outdoors in all weather and indoors in non-climate-controlled areas.
• Willing to wear PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toed shoes, gloves, Tyvek coveralls, respirator.

Responsibilities

• Industrial cleaning/Pressure washing, Wastewater treatment, Spill response, facility services.
• Complete required documentation accurately, timely and legibly in accordance with regulations and policies.
• Perform other reasonably related tasks as assigned by management.
