Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking an Environmental Technician II to manage inbound waste streams, operate onsite equipment such as hi-lo and wheel loaders, and complete required paperwork. This role involves ensuring proper treatment protocols and safe handling of materials.

You will collect samples, unload bulk liquid trucks, resolve inbound-load issues, and work in a team to maintain regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hazardous materials handling experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Comfort working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete required paperwork in accordance with our practices and procedures.
• Collect samples of inbound waste for compatibility.
• Unload bulk liquid trucks to proper tank.
• Resolve and report issues with inbound loads.
• Operate hi-lo and end loaders in a safe manner.
• Have knowledge of our waste streams and their treatment protocol.
• Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned by management.
