Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Supervisor for our Greater Austin Area, Texas team. The role oversees tanker loading operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely shipments while coordinating field crews.

The ideal candidate has hands-on supervisory experience in bulk tanker loading, a strong safety orientation, and knowledge of RCRA/DOT regulations. This on-site position at a Taylor, TX client site offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in bulk or hazardous waste transfer or tanker operations.
• Experience supervising technicians and coordinating schedules & logistics.
• Firm understanding of RCRA, DOT, and hazardous waste regs.
• Hazardous materials handling including manifests and shipping docs.
• Experience with tankers, pumps, hoses, and vacuum trucks.
• OSHA 40-hour training completed.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety procedures and PPE use.
• Schedule and coordinate bulk tanker shipments and loading windows.
• Directly supervise field technicians during tanker loading operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient loading per SOPs, compatibility, and DOT/RCRA requirements.
• Create and review accurate waste shipment manifests.
• Perform air monitoring and use gas meters.
• Communicate shipment status and changes to office staff and customers.
• Oversee site safety, PPE compliance, and spill-response readiness.
• Manage profitability and efficiency of loading assignments.
