Job summary

Hepaco a Clean Harbors company in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team in the field of hazardous waste clean-up and site remediation. You will handle decontamination, hazardous materials, and operate equipment under strict safety protocols.

Two-week paid Academy training may take place out of state, with travel expenses covered. Company benefits include health coverage after 30 days, a 401K with company match, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Able to perform physical duties as listed in responsibilities.
• Pass background check, drug test, and medical exam as required.
• Willing to be on-call and work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Follow OSHA respiratory protection standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand/powered tools.
• Wear PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely during loading/unloading.
• Conduct waste sampling and regulatory compliance tasks.
• Be on-call for emergency response on a rotating basis.
• Assist in site remediation and equipment decontamination.
