Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company, in Shelbyville, KY is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our safety conscious team. This role performs hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and equipment decontamination while handling hazardous materials in various environments.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Capable of performing physical tasks as described in responsibilities.
• On-call rotations may include weekend/holiday work.
• Successful completion of background check and physical; drug test if required.
• Must meet respirator facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies in all tasks.
• Perform strenuous physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and varied temperatures.
• Handle hazardous materials and assist in sampling and calibration.
