Hepaco, A Clean Harbors Company, is hiring an Environmental Field Laborer in Newburgh, IN to support hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination tasks. You will handle hazardous materials and operate field equipment in a safety-conscious team environment.

The role emphasizes physical endurance, strict safety adherence, and collaboration with field crews. On-call emergency response duties may apply, with training and benefits provided after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• Emergency response involvement may require on-call shifts and weekend/holiday work.
• Background check, drug test, and physical may be required by position.
• Facial hair standards apply for respirator use per OSHA.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies as the top priority.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE properly (respirators, skin/eye/hand/foot protection).
• Work outdoors in all weather and in hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
