Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience in an environmental role (e.g., waste management, recycling coordination, environmental education).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and coordinate waste and recycling programs for residents and organizations.
  • Recruit volunteers and prepare program materials and reports.
  • Maintain local data, surveys, and databases for waste flow and compliance.
  • Coordinate events including Saturdays and respond to emergencies at public collection events.
  • Liaise with public and private partners to advance materials management goals.
