Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a steady, safety‑minded worker to prepare hazardous waste materials for incineration. You will break down materials, repackage them for the incinerator, and maintain strict inventory records on an electronic scanner.

The role requires wearing PPE, operating handling equipment, and following detailed process plans in a rotating day/evening schedule. Eligible candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with hazardous chemicals, driving forklifts, and using various tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes and stage materials for processing and repackaging waste into charge boxes for the incinerator.
• Wear PPE and follow environmental protection protocols.
• Adhere to site safety policies and life saving rules.
• Break down and extract waste materials for incineration per process plan.
• Record all material processed and manage in-process inventory with scanning devices.
• Shrink-wrap charges and move to incinerator dock for burning.
• Consolidate material from drums into roll-off containers for incineration.
