Veolia in North America is seeking an outdoor, safety‑minded worker to operate in a rotating shift environment at our incineration preparation area.

The role involves handling hazardous waste materials, packaging and feeding into incinerators with proper PPE, and maintaining inventory and cleanliness in the processing area. $24.40/hr plus a $2.00 shift differential, with full benefits and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic math: decimals/fractions; simple formulas; interpreting measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble boxes and stage materials for processing and repackaging waste into charge boxes for incinerator.
• Wear PPE and other equipment for environmental protection.
• Break down and extract waste materials and dumps into mixing pan.
• Process materials into various solids, mixes or slurries and repackages into charge boxes per plan.
