Clean Harbors in Kimball, NE seeks a Special Handling Technician to perform industrial labor outdoors and in the facility, with rotating 12-hour shifts and night work. Opportunity for students or graduates to gain experience.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Forklift operation is required.
• Labor-intensive work in Ty-Vac suit and respirator.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• DOT Training is required.
• Proficiency in Windows-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Operates industrial equipment including forklift.
• Performs general labor to prepare materials for incineration.
• Ensures safety of self and others at all times.
• Performs spill cleanup with safety precautions.
• Handles hazardous waste tasks including sampling, decanting, pumping, tanker cleaning, and confined space entry.
• Uses protective gear and equipment (Ty-Vac suit, respirator) and rotates shifts due to heat and workload.
• Performs additional duties as required.
