Job summary

Clean Harbors in Fargo, ND is seeking an Environmental Field Laborer to join our field operations. This role involves hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination work in field settings, with travel as we build our regional book of business.

Training is provided and meals/hotels may be covered for extended deployments. The position may require being away from home for periods of time and attendance at an out-of-state academy training.

Qualifications

Reliable transportation to travel between sites.
Ability to perform demanding physical tasks and operate in hazardous environments.
Willingness to be on-call for emergency response and travel as needed.
Commitment to following safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Follow health and safety policies to keep work areas safe.
Perform physical labor including lifting and moving heavy objects.
Operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools with proper PPE usage.
Attend training and safety update meetings; observe all compliance regulations.
Support field sampling, equipment decontamination, and waste handling.
Travel to multiple sites; participate in emergency response when required.
