Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Field Services Technician I (Laborer) in Lincoln, RI to join a safety-conscious team. You will perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• On-call emergency response required; may work weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and medical physical required by position.
• OSHA respirator standards may apply; facial hair rules may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use PPE.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Work at elevations from ladders and scaffolding.
• On-call for emergency response on rotating basis every other week.
• Site remediation and handling of hazardous materials.
