Clean Harbors in Seymour, CT seeks a Field Services Technician (Laborer) to join a safety-focused team handling hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and material handling in the field.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, following safety policies, and supporting emergency response on a rotating schedule. The role requires physical labor and adherence to PPE and regulatory standards, with good transportation and reliability as essential traits.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to perform physical functions per key responsibilities.
• On-call duties, including potential weekend/holiday work and extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and various hand tools; work with vibration-producing tools.
• Wear and use PPE (respirators, skin/eye/hand/foot protection) in various combinations.
• Work in varied temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Handle hazardous materials safely and perform waste loading/unloading.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings and participate in field sampling and calibration activities.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis; assist in site remediation and decontamination tasks.
