Job summary

Clean Harbors in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician II (Hydro Blaster) to perform hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. The role requires attendance at a paid two-week Academy training (possibly out of state) with expenses covered by the company.

Pay range is $22.80–$24.00 hourly. Benefits include health coverage after 30 days, 401K with company match, and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Able to perform physical functions per job requirements.
• Willing to be on-call for emergency responses; overtime weekends/holidays possible.
• Background check, drug test, and physical required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies and procedures.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE properly, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
• Handle hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely and inspect containers for integrity.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and work from trucks, tanks, and other containers.
• Attend compliance and safety meetings and be on-call as required.
