Job summary

Clean Harbors in Odessa, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for the performance of tasks associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

The position requires attendance at a two-week paid Academy training, with expenses covered by the company.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical.
• On-call emergency response may require 12–24 hour shifts, including weekends.
• Able to perform strenuous physical labor and operate PPE.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety policies to keep workspace safe.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use hand tools.
• Assist in hazardous waste handling and field sampling as needed.
• Attend safety meetings and compliance updates.
