Clean Harbors in Longview, WA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role performs hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, wearing PPE, and driving demand in varied environments. On-call emergency response is required on a rotating basis. Competitive benefits and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation is required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks per key responsibilities.
• On-call availability may be required, including weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug testing, and physical exam may be required by position.
• Compliance with respirator facial hair standards per OSHA is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are followed at all times.
• Perform strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand and power tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective clothing.
• Work in various temperatures and weather conditions and in hazardous environments.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and enter trucks/tanks as needed.
• Be on call for emergency responses on a rotating basis.
