Job summary

Clean Harbors in Orange, TX is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety‑conscious team. This role will perform hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials in the field.

The position requires training, on-call emergency response, physical labor, and compliance with Health and Safety policies. We offer paid academy training, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth in a nationwide environmental services

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to perform field tasks.
• Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities.
• Must be on-call for emergency response and may work weekends/holidays.
• Background check, drug test, and medical exam as required.
• Facial hair standards per OSHA respirator rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow Health and Safety policies and keep safety as the top priority.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor and lift heavy objects.
• Operate light/heavy equipment and hand tools.
• Wear and use PPE including respirators and protective gear.
• Work indoors/outdoors in varying temperatures and weather.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters.
• Climb ladders/scaffolding and enter trucks, tanks, or containers.
• Be on call for emergency response on rotating basis.
