VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager for our Hazardous Waste Division in Deer Park, TX. The role focuses on keeping the department efficient, profitable, and responsive to client needs while driving satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, supporting the sales team, negotiating rates, and communicating client requirements to chemists. Strong client-facing skills and knowledge of regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in related field required.
• Chemistry/Biology or related science degree with relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations is preferred.
• 3+ years working in the Hazardous waste or chemical industry.
• Experience in providing customer service support.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience in Hazardous waste is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the sales group to ensure continuous support of external customers.
• Serves as a funnel for the sales team.
• Be primary contact for logistic support.
• Manage Logistics contracts.
• Coordinate transporters requests and negotiate rates for customer movement.
• Be able to communicate client needs to chemist.
• Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.
• Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution.
• Set a clear mission and deploy strategies focused on that mission.
• Develop service procedures, policies, and standards.
• Keep accurate records and document customer service actions and discussions.
