Job summary

Veolia North America seeks a Customer Service Coordinator to quarterback the fulfillment process from order through billing in the Hazardous Waste division. You’ll be the primary contact for customers and internal teams to ensure service delivery is efficient and accurate.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years in technical customer support. Strong organization and communication skills are essential to manage quotes, WIPs, approvals, and scheduling. On-site in Atlanta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technical field or similar.
• 1–3 years of technical customer support experience preferred in hazardous waste/materials or similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for customers within assigned branch territories and provide an excellent customer experience through all aspects of the customer service cycle.
• Own the communication (both internal and external) for all aspects of customer service.
• Take customer requests for service pickups and direct loads. Manage the creation of jobs and tickets. Work with the customer to obtain all required information to create accurate and detailed Jobs/Tickets.
• Provide support for quoting new service code categories to customers.
• Create new Waste Information Profiles (WIPs) and select appropriate approvals codes. Consult with supervisor for support in creation of new WIPs and approvals.
• Work with the Contract Control Manager to ensure the accuracy of customer accounts and price books.
• Coordinate pickup requests with the operation scheduler. Communicate scheduled date to the customer.
• Convert manifests prior to Veolia facility receipt of load and ensure paperwork is provided to billing.
• Work with Billing Coordinator to ensure accuracy of invoices from field service or direct jobs.
