Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all areas assigned. Compensation is $21.32 per hour.

The role requires performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following safety procedures. The position may involve hazardous waste tasks, forklift certification, and driving to various sites as needed.

Candidates should have 3–6 months of related experience or training, good communication, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 3-6 months training or experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for this position based on business needs.
• Completed all safety and task training certification.
• May be required to be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules
• Take direction and respond to supervision
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment
