Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to operate a variety of heavy and light trucks at customer sites, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers and roll offs. You will perform driving and non-driving duties on and off sites for hazardous waste cleanup.

The role requires attending a paid two-week Academy training (out of state possible) with expenses covered. Company offers health benefits after 30 days, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Valid Class A CDL.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Ability to use various mobile devices.
• Must pass background check, drug test, and physical as required by position.
• Must meet respirator facial hair standards per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as needed.
• Drive a variety of Class A trucks and load/unload cargo.
• Perform on-site and off-site duties to meet customer needs.
• Maintain daily logs, time sheets and reports.
