Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking a Chemical Processing Operator I to handle, package, and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

The role collaborates with TSDF Technicians across warehouses, plants, and outdoor settings. Ideal candidates will have 0–2 years of experience, be able to pass a 40-hour HAZWOPER training, and demonstrate knowledge of DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Hazardous materials handling experience or familiarity with safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling chemicals.
• Ability to follow regulatory guidelines and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Handle, classify, segregate, label and package materials per regulations.
• Determine compatibility and safe packing of chemicals; perform consolidations.
• Prepare shipping documents and coordinate transportation of chemical products.
