Job summary

EXCEL Group seeks a dependable Process Handler to support manufacturing by maintaining smooth material flow. You will unload VCM from railcars/trucks, monitor equipment, and ensure safe, compliant operations while handling dry materials as needed.

The role requires experience with hazardous materials, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate or degree in process technology or process operations preferred.
• Experience in both liquid and dry material loading/unloading in an industrial setting, ideally with hazardous chemicals.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to hazardous materials (OSHA, DOT).
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely connect and disconnect transfer hoses for VCM unloading from railcars or trucks.
• Monitor gauges, flow meters, and unloading equipment to ensure proper material flow.
• Conduct inspections of unloading systems and equipment to identify any issues or leaks.
• Perform both VCM and dry material loading/unloading, following safety and operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of material quantities and input data into the facility management system.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and promptly report malfunctions.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate unloading schedules and prioritize tasks efficiently.
