Clean Harbors in Gilroy, CA is seeking a Field Services Technician I to join our safety conscious team. This role will be active in the field responsible for hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Qualifications

• Background check, drug test and medical evaluation may be required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects.
• On-call rotation and potential weekend/holiday work are expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Health and Safety as the top priority by following policies.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting and pulling heavy objects.
• Operate light and heavy equipment and use various hand tools and powered tools.
• Wear and use PPE, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
