Job summary

You will ensure regulatory compliance, perform pre-receipt inspections, and advise field personnel on environmental practices and EMS requirements.

The role includes coordinating storage facilities, assisting with permit processing, and providing guidance on environmental regulations across sites.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience with receipt, storage, sale and reutilization of environmentally sensitive materials and waste.
• Experience applying environmental regulations in DoD contexts and guidance to field personnel.
• Knowledge of federal environmental laws and EMS implementation.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct compliance responsibilities for hazardous materials at storage facilities and conforming storage sites.
• Coordinate storage facilities for hazardous materials across a state area or equivalent.
• Determine permit needs and coordinate applications to obtain permits on time.
• Manage environmental disposal program duties including hubs, retrogrades, special contracts or unusual waste streams.
• Ensure facilities maintain regulatory compliance and conduct pre-receipt inspections.
• Provide technical guidance to field personnel handling receiving/warehousing tasks.
• Guide RTD/Sales activities for hazardous materials and waste.
