Job summary

Rakuten Travel Hawaii seeks a passionate professional to support local market strategy, lead execution of local campaigns, and build an influential online travel brand in Hawaii.

Responsibilities include inbound travel support with hotels, partner analysis, consulting to partners, creating accommodation plans, online page production, and business development to boost ad sales, plus customer service for local partners.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (Hawaii).
• Business-level English and Native-level Japanese proficiency.
• English requirements: citizenship of an English-speaking country, or a degree from an English-speaking country, or TOEIC 800+, or TOEFL iBT 110+, or IELTS 7.0+.
• Minimum of 3 years' working in hospitality or related.
• Experience in dynamic, multi-cultural environments with strong results.
• Proven track record of self-motivated performance and perseverance in travel or related industry.
• Able to work with minimal guidance and drive partnership opportunities forward.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to see the end game of each business opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound travel from Japan by supporting hotel contracts and promoting them to customers.
• Analyze partners' current situation, mainly hotel partners.
• Provide consulting to partners to create win-win online travel and accommodation plans.
• Plan and create hotel accommodation plans.
• Support production of online customized pages.
• Develop business to increase ad sales to partners.
• Provide customer service support for local partners.
• Other ad-hoc duties.
