Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services in Honokaa, Hawaii for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves assessments, treatment planning, and both direct and consultative OT services to help students access their education.

You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and a multidisciplinary team to align services with IEP goals and support student participation and progress in the educational setting.

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Occupational Therapist license.
• Meet Hawaii Department of Education requirements for school-based work.
• Background clearance and TB clearance, as required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal and dynamic occupational therapy assessments to determine students’ functional needs.
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and triennial evaluations as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support students’ participation and progress in the educational environment.
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student access.
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, progress reports, and other required documentation.
• Support students across a variety of developmental and functional needs within the school setting.
