Job summary

Point Quest Group is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 setting in Hawaii. The role involves assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering direct and consultative OT services to help students access education.

This full-time position in a school-based environment offers relocation assistance, travel options, and a 5k bonus, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Hawaii.
• Meet Hawaii Department of Education requirements for working in a school-based setting.
• Background clearance and TB clearance, as required.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal and dynamic occupational therapy assessments to determine students' functional needs
• Develop and coordinate treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct Occupational Therapy services aligned with students' IEP goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, annual reviews, and triennial evaluations as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other providers to support students' participation and progress in the educational environment
• Provide consultation and recommendations regarding accommodations, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support student access
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, assessment data, progress reports, and other required documentation
• Support students across a variety of developmental and functional needs within the school setting
