American Diabetes Association in Hawaii is seeking an experienced Director of Development to lead the Hawaii State peer-to-peer fundraising portfolio. You will supervise event-based revenue, donor and fundraiser development, and engagement across local campaigns, with responsibility for teams, volunteers, and corporate partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in peer-to-peer fundraising, events, leadership, volunteerism, and corporate partnerships.
• Excellent public speaking to present ADA’s mission to groups of all sizes.
• Demonstrated ability recruiting and mobilizing supporters and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, and lead strategies for fundraising and development activities to grow revenue.
• Monitor daily campaign data through reports and dashboards to identify opportunities.
• Manage a portfolio of teams, participants, volunteers, and corporate leaders.
• Develop plans for retention, upgrade, and acquisition of business focus areas.
• Track progress, budgets, forecasts, and revenue KPIs.
