Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Hawaii seeks a Manager of Operations for the Offsite M&M Office to oversee a 60+ person department across trades, planning, and QA. You will coordinate with site managers and customers to ensure safety, quality, and cost targets are met, while driving continuous improvement and strategic planning for current and future workloads.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple disciplines to support production

Qualifications

10+ years in a related field with 5+ years in project management in shipyard construction.
Willing to travel within the continental US (incl. Guam) up to 1 year.
Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance.
Experience coordinating multiple trades and disciplines onboard submarines.

Responsibilities

Lead a 60+ person department across logistics, operations, testing and related areas.
Ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance; apply corrective actions as needed.
Plan for risk, audits, and readiness for inspections with EB and government customers.
Drive continuous improvement and cost control; manage work execution and reporting.
Collaborate with site leadership and other off-site locations to meet program milestones.
